Yarbro conducts a WUD fire department class while C. R. Jernigan, Billy Wakefield, Merlin Harris and Roy Prichard take notes. All WUD firemen are required to g=have a minimum of one hour of classwork and instruction each day. Fire fighting is a highly technical profession and special studing is necessary to keep abreast of the rapidly changing methods and technology. The WUD Fire Department provides a community service by administering emergency first aid. C. R.
